DLSP wins 2010 search for Best Business Idea and Development Award

The Dalubhasaan ng Lunsod ng San Pablo (DLSP) thru the leadership of College Administrator Dr. Edelio B. Panaligan, has added another feather to its cap when it brought home recently the 2010 Search for the Best Business Idea and Development Award (BIDA) of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) at the Fiesta Pavilion, Manila Hotel, Manila.
The national competition aims to inculcate in youth's heart and mind the rich Filipino culture and tradition.

DLSP participated in food, non-food and service categories and competed with 35 other reputable universities and colleges nationwide and bested them all for the coveted first prize in non-food category and received trophy and P50,000.00 cash prize. The school's entries in food and service categories landed in 10 finalists but not as lucky to get the plum prize.

City Mayor Vic Amante extended his congratulatory message to the participants and school mentors, especially those belonging to the Business Administration Department who untiringly guided and led the student participants to victory.

Likewise, participants and their coaches reciprocated the Mayor's act by thanking and praising him for all the unwavering support in providing quality education to the youth of San Pablo as the founder of DLSP. (CIO/PIA-Laguna)
