San Pablo Rotary to hold a Fun Run

The Rotary Club of Silangang San Pablo will hold a fun fun/walk on January 8, 2011 around Sampaloc Lake in this city to raise fund in support to the World Health Organization's (WHO) campaign to "End Polio Now!"
Noni Benitez, RC Silangan spokesperson said the event is a manifestation of their cooperation to the cause launched by Rotary International District 3820 governor Fortunato Dimayuga to raise an adequate amount for the WHO's campaign.

The WHO will use the fund to sustain the vaccination against polio in Pakistan,
Afganistan and Libya where there is a reported continuous rise of people afflicted with polio.
Benitez are calling on residents and non-residents of San Pablo to participate in the worthy cause, adding that the runners/walkers will be provided with t-shirt emblazoned with "End Polio Now" to convey the objective of Rotary International in the eradication of polio.
